Frisco YMCA Parents' Night Out.

(FRISCO, TX—August 12, 2016) Fall is just around the corner, and the Frisco Family YMCA is busy preparing for a busy season of family fun and fitness opportunities. From kids’ activities to new group exercise classes for mom and dad, the Frisco Y is strengthening community and keeping you connected through a variety of programs and special events.

Parents’ Night Out

Let your little ones join us for crazy games, fun times, movie and pizza while you enjoy a date night. We're offering Parents Night Out from 6 to 10pm Saturday, August 27th.

PNO is open to ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. The kids play games, have adventures, make crafts, watch a movie and more in a safe and fun environment. Drinks and dinner included! Bring a friend along, too - make it twice as nice!

The cost is $22 (member rate); $18 per additional child. Nonmembers welcome, too! The non-member rate is $27, and $23 per additional child.

CPR and Babysitting Classes

CPR Class is a Heartsaver course geared towards the general public and is not for nurses or other people who may need a Healthcare provider class. Students will learn basic First Aid and CPR for infants, children, and adults.

The Frisco Y’s Babysitting Training Class can also be scheduled for Girl Scout Troops and youth groups for personal sessions. First Aid and CPR basics will be covered, but not certified.

First Aid and Babysitting classes are held the third Saturday of every month.* Our next First Aid/CPR course is Saturday, August 20th from 1 to 4:30pm.*Note: The SATURDAY Babysitting Course for August 20th is full, but another Babysitting Course has been scheduled for Sunday, August 21st from 2-5pm.

Tumble Bugs

Tumble Bugs is a preschool tumbling program that will introduce 3- and 4-year-old girls and boys to gymnastics. Children will learn about and develop skills in stretching, balance, movement, and coordination. Beginning August 24th and running through September 28th, classes will be held every Wednesday from 10-10:45 am. The cost is $60 for members, $75 for non-members. Youth Sports

Fall SportsRegistration ends August 22nd!

Fall Pre-K Soccer (3-4 yrs)runs from September 10th through October 15th(6-game season).Games are played Saturdays between 8am and 6pm at the Frisco Y fields.Cost is$58 for Y members, $73 for non-members. Uniforms and participation award provided.

Fall Youth Soccer (5-12 yrs)and runs from September 10th through October 29th(8-game season)Games are played Saturdays between 8am and 6pm at Frisco Y fields. Cost is $73 for Y members, $99 for non-members.Uniforms and participation award provided.

Fall Flag Football (5-12 yrs)runs September 10th through October 29th(7-game season).Games are played Saturdays between 8am and 6pmat Frisco Y fields.Cost is $78 for Y members, $108 for non-members.Uniforms and participation award provided.

Fall Small Fry Classes (3-5 yrs)These are scheduled 45 minute classes on

Saturdays for boys and girls ages 3-5. The goal of this program is to teach the basics of team sports such as T-Ball, Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball and much more. YMCA Coaches teach these classes that are a building block for kids to then join the league format games.

Held at the Frisco Family YMCA, there are four sessions each. Cost is $38 for Y members, $59 for non-members. Register now for soccer in September. Basketball will be taught in October and football in November.

Adventure Guides & Princesses

The Adventure Guide and Princess programs for Grades K-3 aims to strengthen the bond between fathers and their children through activities that allow them to spend quality time together. The program involves community, nature, family and fun. The Guide and Princess program builds memories that will last a lifetime.

Circles for the upcoming year are starting now. Join an existing circle in your area or create your own circle with friends. The first step to experiencing all that Adventure Guides has to offer is to sign up for 2016-2017. Registration for the upcoming year is underway!

Insanity now at the Frisco Y! Classes offered Tuesday andThursday at 9:30am.INSANITY™ is a cardio class, based on max interval training. This class willpush you past your limits withathletic/plyometric drills mixed with intervals of strength, power, resistance, and core training. No equipment or weights needed.
