Plano, TX - August 28, 2015 – Registration is underway for the Plano Family YMCA 2015-16 Preschool Program, which begins Monday, August 31. The new handbook and registration information are available at the Welcome Center.

Children age 3 to 5 will enjoy lessons in arts and crafts; science; math and counting; story time; pre-phonics; character building; letters; colors and shapes; weather and seasons; calendars; Spanish; nutritional components and sign language.

The goal of the Plano Family YMCA Preschool Program is to provide the kind of environment and influence that encourages all children to become creative, independent and responsible students who can make positive choices for themselves.

The program runs 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, with post-care from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Drop off begins at 7:45 a.m.  A three day option (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) is available. The Preschool Program follows the Plano ISD calendar for holidays.
