Registration is underway through May 25 for Summer Basketball. The Plano Family YMCA youth basketball league has no tryouts and everyone is welcome. Thanks to the Y's sports philosophy and basketball rules, kids participate in every game and receive equal playing time, regardless of skill level. 

Youth Basketball at the Y develops fundamental basketball skills, teaches teamwork and promotes physical activity in a team environment. This indoor basketball league is open to boys and girls ages 3-12.

The season runs from June 9th through July 23. Practice begins the week of June 1. All practices will be at the Plano YMCA with times between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays to be chosen by the volunteer Head Coach at the Coaches Meeting.

Summer Season games will be played on Tuesday or Thursday nights between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Games are played at Plano, McKinney or Frisco ISD schools. Season is 6 games total with no tournament.

There will be a Coaches Meeting Thursday, May 28th at 7:30 pm at the Plano YMCA. Coaches will be given their rosters at this time and players can expect a call within two days of the meeting.

Y Member: $70/session, Non-Member: $90/session. Jerseys/uniforms and trophies are included in the registration cost.
