Stay active this winter at the Frisco Family YMCA

As summer has quickly given way to fall, the days have become shorter and the holidays are approaching, there might be an urge to slow down. DON’T DO IT! Stay active with the many activities available at the Frisco Family YMCA.

Thanks to our Coaches

As the fall sports season has come to an end, the Frisco Family YMCA would like to thank all of the coaches who have helped out this year. All of the coaches for the youth sports programs are volunteers. They are dads, moms, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins that want to make a difference.

For the fall season alone, coaches volunteered more than 784 hours of their time. By the end of the year, coaches will have volunteered over 2,000 hours to help provide a positive impact on the youth in the sports program.

While playing sports is the basis of the program,  coaches also teach sportsmanship and life lessons. Those lessons help children develop both physically and mentally, long into the future.
