Live music from local guitarist Robert LaCroix on Wednesday, Nov. 26 from 8 p.m to 11 p.m. at Dodie’s Cajun Diner at The Harbor in Rockwall.

Dodie’s Cajun Diner at The Harbor in Rockwall is inviting everyone to treat themselves to some HOT Cajun food and live music from local guitarist Robert LaCroix on Wednesday, Nov. 26 from 8 p.m to 11 p.m. at the restaurant. Come in and take it easy before the hustle and bustle of the big turkey day.

“We’re extremely excited about having Robert play for us on Thanksgiving Eve,” said Dodie’s Manager Dan Keils. “He’s an extraordinarily talented musician who’s well known throughout the community and will make the night very special and enjoyable for our guests.”

Over the last 30 years, Robert’s experience has enabled him to perform as a professional guitarist and as a teacher both privately and in the local community colleges. He has performed at many venues and events including the Denton Music and Arts Festival, Fort Worth Main Street Festival, Taste of Dallas, Crossroads Mall Jazz  Festival of San Antonio, and many  restaurants, clubs and private events throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area and the state of Texas.

Dodie’s will be closed Thanksgiving Day but open all weekend and invites all within the community to bring their families, kick back and let the Dodie’s team do all the cooking during its “Cold Winter Nights… HOT Cajun Food” daily special going on now through January. Guests can choose one of five delicious entrees – including jambalaya, crawfish etoufee, shrimp creole, grilled tilapia and an assortment of fried plates – all for just $11.99.

Those who didn’t fill up on turkey and dressing on Thursday can take advantage of Dodie’s weekly Friday crab leg special featuring a pound and a quarter’s worth of mouth-watering crab legs for only $16.99.
