ROCKWALL, TX - Ever since we announced our St. Patrick's Day Weekend Celebration, there's been debate over whether we should call it St. Paddy's Day (with double d's) or St. Patty's Day (with two t's - which, in our not-so-humble opinion, is a girl's name).

Well, our research (which comprises the opinions of several margarita drinking St. Patrick's Day partiers) confirms that the spelling most preferred is "Paddy's". After all, Paddy is derived from the Irish word, Pádraig: the source of those mysterious, emerald double-Ds. And we're pretty sure that no one in Ireland would refer to a fella named Patrick as "Patty."

If you don't believe us, there are several websites devoted to the discussion; just visit www.paddynotpatty.com.

So come to Dodie's at The Harbor in Rockwall from Friday, March 13 through Tuesday, March 17 to partake of our t. Paddy's drink specials, live music and crawfish. See flier for schedule.
