The Marketplace Garland kicks-off its 3rd season on Saturday, April 18th.  With amazing local growers, artisan, craftsmen, culinary items, fresh baked goods, entertainment and more, this event rapidly became a monthly favorite after its launch in 2013, to the many area wide shoppers who enjoy this unique and wonderfully local market experience.

With its ideal location, in the heart of Garland, patrons also enjoy taking in all of the shops and restaurants surrounding the market.  And, with the strong revitalization and growth happening throughout downtown Garland right now, there soon will be many more great places to check out each time you visit The Marketplace.

This event supports Good Samaritans of Garland which was established in 1982 by the Garland Ministerial Alliance. Good Samaritans was founded on the concept that as churches became aware of people in need, they could refer them to a central agency rather than each church maintaining its own food pantry. Good Sam serves the communities Garland, Rowlett and Sachse.

The Marketplace Garland, a european style farmer's market, runs every 3rd Saturday, April through September in Garland's historic downtown square, from 9 am - 2pm.  It is sponsored by Metroplex Foundation Repair, Suburban Style Magazine, The City of Garland, Natural Awakenings Magazine, and Lovett PR, and is produced by Eventive Marketing Soluions, Inc, and presented by the Garland Downtown Business Association.
