Reid Johnson, President of Rockwall-based Lake Point Financial Group has begun hosting the radio show Wealth Smart on KSKY 660 AM each Sunday at 7 am.  Listeners can tune in to learn about strategies and ideas for retirement and retirement planning.

Each week, Johnson will address a different retirement topic ranging from retirement myths to financial plans.  “Retirees today cannot count on the same things as previous generations,” says Johnson.  “That is why they need to prepare for retirement differently and take advantage of all the useful tools out there.  On Wealth Smart, I will offer tools and guidance that listeners need to prepare to the retirement they deserve.”

 With more than 16 years as a financial professional, Johnson is on a personal mission to help retirees achieve financial security so that they are able to enjoy a comfortable retirement.  Wealth Smart will provide the most updated and accurate information to listeners and steer them towards meeting their retirement financial needs.

 Johnson attended the University of Utah with a focus on business finance along with studying personal finance and accounting.  He has been honored with several awards including the Presidents Honor Circle and Million Dollar Round Table.

 Johnson along with his wife Danielle and their three children live in Rockwall where he is involved in several community groups.
