It was a rough week for the Rockwall Yellowjackets and Heath Hawks this past Friday night. The Yellowjackets lost a close one to the Lobos in Longview 36-29. The Jackets were able to get 4 touchdowns from running back Allison Strange. The Jackets are now 1-2 in district play.

The Hawks kept it close with North Mesquite for the first 24 minutes, but the Stallions were mighty as they handed the Hawks their first district loss of the season 52-28. The Hawks are now 2-1 in district play.

Take a breath everyone! The Jackets and Hawks will rest up and get healthy and enjoy the bye week this week. There will be no football games this Friday night.

The Jackets will return to action on October 14 at home for Homecoming 2016 against Mesquite Horn. The Hawks will take their only trip to east Texas on October 14 against John Tyler.
