Several elementary schools across Rockwall ISD recently raised money for children who need coats but can’t afford them. The Coins for Coats event was coordinated by the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club and raised over $4,500!

“We are thrilled with the results and are so appreciative for everyone’s participation,” said Trenton Cornehl, 2016 Chair of the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Coats for Kids program.

“We are so grateful to be in partnership with the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary,” said Dr. Amy Anderson, Chief Administrative Officer for Rockwall ISD elementary schools. “They’re taking care of our kids and making sure they have a warm coat for the season ahead.”

Participating Rockwall Schools: Amy Parks, CLP, Hartman, Hays, Nebbie, Pullen, Reinhardt, Rochell, Shannon and Stevenson.
