Reid Watson is a fourth grader at Springer Elementary and a member of Rockwall County 4H. Reid and his sister Regan are the only Rockwall County 4H & FFA members that show dairy goats, and this was Reid’s first year to compete.

At the State Fair, Reid showed in the Youth Dairy Goat Show & the Pan-American Dairy Goat Show, which is open to all ages. Reid won Reserve Grand Champion, Saanen Junior Doe in the Pan-American Livestock Show with his Saanen Doe, Lady Frances.

Saanen goats are the largest dairy goat breed & originate from Switzerland.
