Pullen Elementary students in 3rd grade are studying lines of longitude, lines of latitude and where the equator and prime meridian are located.  They are learning all sorts of map skills.

Making paper mache globes not only increase their understanding of map skills/features, it helps them understand our world in general. And what a fun way to do it!
