Megan Patterson, 7th and 8th grade teacher at Cain Middle School, took the official #RockThe1stDay hashtag and ran with it, getting her students excited for the school year.
“We like to do a lot of hands-on stuff in my classroom, so we are always trying out new things,” said Patterson. “I am most looking forward to all the fun projects that we have planned! We are going to get with another classroom across the world to do a Skype project, we are doing fund raising, we are doing different activities and field trips with PALS, and I also want to do a chick hatching project in the spring! It will be so fun!”
Ms. Patterson wasn’t the only teacher to do the picture frame, although she was the only one to use the hashtag.
