The Orange Wave Marching Band from Rockwall High School competed in the Plano East Marching Invitational this past Saturday at Clark Stadium in Plano. The kids had a great performance in prelims and advanced to the finals competition later that evening, where they finished in 7th place out of the top eleven bands. The Orange Wave will take the field again on Wednesday, October 21st at the Region 3 UIL Marching Contest in Mesquite. The group will perform at 5:15 at Memorial Stadium and then again at the Duncanville Marching Invitational on Saturday, October 24th. The performance time at Duncanville will be announced at a later date.
