The Rockwall-Heath Highsteppers attended the American Dance/Drill Team Platinum Line Camp from July 23-26 in Richardson. The Highsteppers performed a Home Kick Routine, and two routines – a streamer and a kick – for final evaluation. The team received the Gussie Nell Davis Award – Day 2, Best Overall Precision, Diamond Sweepstakes Award, All American Team of the Day – Day 3, and All American Team of the Week.

Many members also received individual awards. This year the Highsteppers will compete in the Super Team Category at competitions because the team is now 55 members strong, increasing from 36 members last year.
