This year, students from Rockwall-Heath High School will spend part of their school day as dual credit college students on the Eastfield College Campus. Shown here with RHHS Principal, Dr. Tom Maglisceau, these students will be working toward three welding certifications: Gas Metal Arc Welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding.  They have the opportunity to earn high school credit, and up to 32 hours of college credit, before graduating high school next year. The two-year dual credit welding program is part of the Rockwall ISD Career Education Program and is open to new cohorts of Rockwall ISD juniors each year.
