Students from all 13 elementary campuses and Cain Middle School had the opportunity to attend the TedxSMU conference in Dallas.

In order to attend the students had to submit projects. After submitting their projects, students were selected to attend

The students listened to various speakers in a TedTalk format. Diego from Shannon Elementary enjoyed David Gallo, who spoke about exploring the depths of the ocean. Caleigh from Shannon enjoyed the open mike portion of the conference where students were able to express their thoughts and ideas.
