Head Start Child Enrollment Qualifications are:

• Child must be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1, 2016
• Family must meet federal income guidelines

Head Start Also Accepts:
– Children with an identified disability
– English language learners
– Homeless families
– Foster children

Head Start Requires Proof of Income:
Pages 1 & 2 of the 1040 Tax Form, W-2(s), 4 most recent pay stubs, self-employment records indicating previous 12 month’s income: TANF, SSI, Social Security Income, child support, (any other public assistance)

What will I need to provide?
– Child’s official birth certificate
– Social Security Card (if applicable)
– Child’s up-to-date shot record
– Medicaid, CHIPS or insurance card (if applicable)
– Current proof of residence within the Rockwall ISDattendance boundaries. (within previous month)
– Photo ID must match current proof
