Rockwall ISD students and staff will work service projects across the community as part of the annual Students Serving Others Day this Saturday, April 16. Students will become a part of service projects throughout the day, working at different locations and facilities throughout the community.

Pullen Elementary student, Stone Bailey said, “It’s important to serve others because nobody should go to bed hungry and they should all have a place to stay at night.”

Rockwall ISD students find purpose and pride in serving others. It gives students a chance to take the acts of kindness and compassion learned in the classroom, and share it with the community.

Pullen Elementary student, Jackson Stouffer said, “I’m excited for SSO Day because I want to help people in need and I want them to feel that they have someone else to help them and be loved.”

Join us this Saturday, April 16, to be a part of the movement of serving others by supporting and cheering on our Rockwall ISD students and local business representatives. Get your group or business involved and become a partner for the day by lending a hand and assisting with a project or providing supplies.
