Heath Starsteppers JV Officers are in competition season. They competed in February and this past weekend in the Denton National Champions.

Heath Starsteppers JV officers went to a state competition on February 20 and brought home many awards they received; Texas State Champion JV Officers, Texas State Super Sweepstakes, Texas State Champion Officer Jazz routine, Texas State Officer prop routine, Texas State Officer contemporary routine, Outstanding technique.

This past weekend at the Denton National Champions the JV Officers won the following awards: 1st runner up Best of the Best Officer group, Gussie Nell Davis award of excellence, JV National Champions Jazz, JV National Champions Prop, 2nd runner-up National Champions Lyrical, 2nd runner National Champions contemporary, Texas Motion Sports Wow Factor. Individual awards were also won by Savannah Gear~3rd runner-up state solo finalist, Mary Beth Deren~ 2nd runner-up state solo finalist, Laura Bender~National State Champion soloist.
