Fourth grader, Gage Duke, from Stevenson Elementary has been selected as 1 of 6 winners of The Leader in Me’s annual speech contest. Stevenson Elementary surprised Gage with the announcement during a live chat/Skype call from The Leader in Me organization during his Awards Ceremony this Friday, June 3.

As a prize, Gage was presented with a $500 grant from The Leader in Me. He plans to use the grant to buy more bicycle helmets for his organization. In addition, third graders at Stevenson raised $290 dollars for Gages program and donated it to him during the ceremony. Way to go Gage Duke, Rockwall ISD is proud of you!
