Congratulations to Jochen Hotz and Chris Kelm on the award of the grant entitled Learning across I-30. The RISD Foundation Prize Patrol visited Heath last week to award the grant and celebrate the teachers innovative idea.
Mr. Hotz explains the goal of the project is to increase student learning of a new language by building and expanding on understanding of grammar concepts, and animate students to engage in higher level thinking. “We will be able to connect to another high school and collaborate in a meaningful manner with students at a different locale. Students are able to share their knowledge base and transfer it to the other campus. This is a two-way learning street.”
