The Rockwall-Heath Hawks have turned into one of the hottest teams in Texas after another decisive victory this time over the Wylie Pirates 44-6 at John Clark Stadium in Plano.
The Hawks carved up a 30-0 lead at halftime and never looked back thanks to Jordan Hoy’s second straight dominating performance. Hoy went 6 for 14 in passing and ran for 200 yards and 4 touchdowns. The McCalister brothers also added to the fun while Tyler ran for 117 yards and a score and brother Tanner ran for 8 yards and a score.
The Hawk defense continues to dominate every team thrown at them. The defense registered five sacks on the night.
The Hawks have now won 8 games in a row. The last loss came back against District Champion Poteet on September 25.
The Hawks will advance to the regional semis to take on John Tyler. The Hawks will face the Lions at McLane Stadium Home of the Baylor Bears next Friday at Noon.
