This past weekend the Rockwall-Heath Highsteppers competed in San Marcos at the Showmakers State Drill Team Competition.  The Highstepper’s Officers and Elite Team were the top scoring teams and won state championships for the second year in a row.  The Highstepper’s Team, Officers and Elite Team were awarded the Judges Award, Outstanding Showmanship, Outstanding Choreography, Outstanding Technique and Outstanding Precision for their routines. They also won the Entertainment Award and Costume Award for their team contemporary routine.
