This month, Tyler Burden, sophomore at Rockwall Heath High School, won a chair in the 5A Texas All State Band. Thousands of students audition for All Region each year. Some are selected to advance to Area competition, and a very select few are selected to represent their schools as members of the All State Band. Tyler plays baritone in the RHHS Mighty Hawk Marching Band and euphonium in the RHHS Wind Ensemble. He will attend the TMEA Clinic and Conference on February 11th through 14th in San Antonio to perform with top players from across the state.
