Congratulations to Jacob Clark and Maddie James awarded Rockwall High School Jacket Backers August Athletes of the Month.
Jacob Clark, Junior, Football: Jacob completed 24-32 passes for 399 yards and 5 TDs in Rockwall’s 53-49 win over Highland Park. He led the Jackets to the most points HP has ever allowed in a game. Coach Webb says about Jacob, “Jacob has become a great leader and teammate in addition to his play as our QB. He represents our program with class and great sportsmanship.”
Also nominated Austin Shumake for Cross-Country
Maddie James. Senior, Volleyball: Maddie has led the Jackets to a great start to the season, winning the Rockwall tournament and starting 1-0 in district play. Coach Wilson says about Maddie, “Maddie had an outstanding August and has become an unstoppable force at the net. She’s also stepped up to become one of our top servers.”
Also nominated Ariell Hopkins for Cross-Country
