Congratulations to Jacket Backer September Athletes of the Month River Hill and Ginger Stephenson!
Coach Howell had this to say about Freshman Cross Country athlete River Hill.
River Hill, Freshman, Cross Country - River has been one of the highest finishers on the team the last three meets. He placed 10th in a time of 17:35 at the Stallion Stampede last week. He is a freshmen who has already ran under 17 in 5K. As a freshmen he has placed in the top 10 at 5 of the 6 meets the team has attended so far this season. That’s impressive!! – From the coach. “River has the greatest potential of any runner that has come through Rockwall in the last 10 years”

Coach Wilson had this to say about Senior Volleyball player Ginger Stephenson.
Ginger Stephenson, Senior, Volleyball - Ginger had 51 kills hitting at a .250 efficiency with 96 digs during the month of September, leading her team to 7 straight wins. Ginger is a captain on the volleyball team, as well as a great player, leader and student. From the coach “Ginger Stephenson is an absolute all around stud on the volleyball court. She can hit, serve, pass and play defense with the best of them and does it all with an awesome positive, contagious attitude.”
