The Vanderbilt to Vickery Association is excited to announce the return of its annual Lower Greenville Avenue St. Patrick’s Day Block Party, the largest of its kind in Dallas, on Saturday, March 16, 2024. The Block Party runs 9 AM - 6 PM on Lower Greenville between Vanderbilt and Vickery. Guests 21 and older are encouraged to dress in green and come prepared for a day full of great music, beer, and plenty of St. Patrick’s Day cheer. The party has been a longstanding tradition on Lower Greenville for over 30 years.

A representative of the Vanderbilt to Vickery Association said, “This celebration is legendary. Bars and restaurants on Lower Greenville will take part in this all-day, St Patrick’s Day party that fills the streets with music, food, and drink. Our goal is to make sure every party-goer has a great time in a fun environment, with free shuttle service helping everyone enjoy St. Patrick’s Day responsibly.”

Entry to the Block Party includes access to the massive event’s three music stages with DJs, conveniently located near the participating bars and a wide selection of beers. ATMs will be located at each entry point and throughout the event grounds.

Some of the best bars in Dallas will be participating including Stan’s Blue Note, the oldest bar in Dallas; The Dubliner, Dallas’ oldest Irish pub; Dodie’s Reef; Terilli’s; Halcyon; Christies; and Sisters.

Guests are encouraged to plan for various street closures in the area. Travel to the event will be provided by a free shuttle, which will run from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. from the Mockingbird Station directly to the block party.

Must be 21 years of age to attend and must provide a valid ID.

No backpacks, large purses, containers, or coolers are allowed; nothing can be brought in or out of the event.
