Rockwall ISD is excited to recognize Rockwall-Heath High School senior, Junta Chanthavisay, as our last “Saluting our Graduates” profile.

Junta is a graduate from Rockwall-Heath High School Class of 2016. She plans on attending the University of Texas at Arlington for a year before transferring to the University of Texas at Austin to major in nursing.

In August 2009, Junta was diagnosed with Thalassemia, a genetic blood disorder that requires blood transfusions. Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder in which the body makes an abnormal form of hemoglobin.
