Rockwall High School quarterback Jacob Clark, a rising senior, announced this week that he intends to sign with the University of Minnesota to play college football.

Rockwall High School senior Chika Iwuamadi was the top local finisher at the UIL 6A Track and Field Championships in Austin on Saturday, taking second place in the girls 400 meter run with a time of 54.28.

Saturday softball: Jackets' season ends with 7-0 loss

Rockwall High School's softball season ended in front of a home crowd on Saturday as the Lady Jackets fell, 7-0, to The Woodlands to end a scheduled best-of-three regional quarterfinal series after Game 2.
