Ten R.O.C.K site coordinators received recognition for the certification of their after school programs by Dallas After School. The non-profit after school organization recognizes high quality after school programs. Ten out of thirteen of our campuses were recognized including; Amy Parks-Heath Elementary, Hays Elementary, Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary, Jones Elementary, Pullen Elementary, Hartman Elementary, Nebbie Williams Elementary, Springer Elementary, Shannon Elementary and Reinhart Elementary

The program has had a six year journey getting to this point. ROCK operates on all Rockwall ISD elementary campuses during the school year serving Pre-K – 6th grade students. They work to provide a secure and positive learning environment for student leaders in an after school setting. Certified teachers and trained staff members spend multiple hours after school engaging students in a learning-rich program covering various subjects.
