Fifth grade students at Cullins Elementary are busy getting ready for their annual Colonial Night!  When the colonists first arrived to the Americas they did not have easy access to paper.  Paper was expensive to ship from England.  In order to make paper the colonists boiled rags and decomposed them down into a paper form.  Our students made their own recycled paper from scraps they had collected.  It gave them an insight into something we used on a daily basis!
