On Friday, February 27, three Rockwall ISD teachers were surprised in front of their students and principal as H-E-B announced them as regional finalists for the 2015 H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards.

This award celebrates public school professionals whose leadership and dedication inspire a love of learning in students of all backgrounds and abilities.

Julie Woodard at Pullen Elementary, Brittany Seymore at Rochell Elementary and Katie Braden at Williams Middle School were Rockwall ISD’s three finalists. Teachers received a check for $1,000 plus their campus will each receive $1,000 as well.

Rockwall ISD is proud of our three finalists as there are only six finalists in the entire North Texas area and three of those finalists came from Rockwall ISD!
